Code and Zoning
Our office is responsible for administering and enforcing the Town’s building, zoning, and property maintenance codes to help ensure that all development and construction within the Town is safe, orderly, and consistent with local regulations.
Robert LaPoint, Zoning Officer, oversees code enforcement and zoning matters, including building permits, inspections, zoning compliance, and property maintenance concerns. Whether you’re planning a new construction project, adding to an existing structure, or have questions about zoning regulations, we’re here to help guide you through the process.
Before beginning any project, please contact the office to determine if a permit is required or to verify zoning requirements for your property. Doing so helps ensure compliance and avoids unnecessary delays.
Our goal is to protect the health, safety, and well-being of all Pavilion residents while supporting thoughtful growth and development within our community.
Planning
The Planning Board plays a key role in overseeing the community’s growth and development while preserving its small-town character and charm. The board reviews certain building permit applications to ensure they align with the town’s zoning laws and long-term vision. Through strategic planning and public input, the board works to ensure both growth and preservation.
